The best of jazz, blues, swing and spirituals comes our way . . . steeped in New Orleans’ rich culture and tradition. Following performances at Jazz at Lincoln Center and Chicago’s Ravinia Festival, the orchestra includes Rockford in its national tour. Founder and artistic director Irvin Mayfield is the Cultural Ambassador for the City of New Orleans and is a Billboard Award-winning trumpeter/composer.
