Giacomo Puccini set the last opera he wrote in the exotic and forbidden city of ancient Beijing. Prince Calaf falls in love with the beautiful, yet cruel Princess Turandot. By correctly answering her riddles, he saves himself and the people of Beijing . . . and Turandot finally realizes that goodness does exist in the world.
